Other sports that need to be done besides aerobic exercise are weight training. Weight training is very important to strengthen our muscles and can also reduce the rapid shrinking of our muscles because of increasing age.

From the age of 30 to 70 years, our muscles shrink by about 40%. But if from a young age and continues to the elderly to do weight training, the muscle shrinkage is not too much so that the elderly will not fall easily because of reduced muscles and also
stay upright and stay easy to walk or go up stairs. Weight training should be done only 3 times a week on non-consecutive days, for example on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Remember, with a healthy and fit body, the quality of life will also increase.
